MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES & APPLICATIONS
FULL CLINICAL MEMBER: Either reside or work in New Hampshire, has a doctoral degree in psychology or a closely related field, and is engaged either fulltime or part-time clinical psychological services. Full Clinical Application
FULL ACADEMIC MEMBER: Either reside or work in New Hampshire, has a doctoral degree in psychology or a closely related field, and is engaged either fulltime or part-time in psychological research, psychology teaching, or psychological consultation. Academic members do not engage in the delivery of clinical services. Full Academic Application
EARLY CAREER MEMBER:
Early Career Member shall be within seven (7) years post degree award. Early Career Members either reside or work in New Hampshire. At the time of application shall be engaged in professional work that is primarily psychological in nature, and shall possess a doctoral degree in psychology or a closely related field. EMERITUS MEMBER: Emeritus members are members who are retired and have maintained membership for a full fifteen (15) years immediately preceding retirement . Emeritus Application
ASSOCIATE MEMBER: Either resides or works in New Hampshire. Possesses a Master's degree in psychology or related field. Is engaged in either full-time or part-time in the provision of psychological research, psychology teaching, psychological consultation,or clinical psychological services. Associate Application
OUT OF STATE MEMBER: Satisfies each of the requirements for Full Member status, except does not reside in New Hampshire and none of full-time or part-time psychological work is performed in New Hampshire. Out of State Application
AFFLIATE MEMBER:
Individuals who do not qualify for any other membership status, but have a strong connection to the mental health community. Applications for Affiliate Member status must be approved by the NHPA Board of Directors at their discretion. Affiliate Application
INSTITUTIONAL MEMBER (ACADEMIC): An instiution engaged in the work of providing psychological education and/or training in the field of mental health. Institutional members may have individuals under their membership. These individuals may participate in the NHPA activities based on the level they would be eligible for as an individual member. Applications for Institutional Members status must be approved by the NHPA Board of Directors. Institutional Application
INSTITUTIONAL MEMBER (HUMAN SERVICES ORGANIZATIONS): An instiution engaged in the work of providing mental health services. Institutional members may have individuals under their membership. These individuals may participate in the NHPA activities based on the level they would be eligible for as an individual member.
